SCHOOL YEAR 2022 – 2023
On February 12, 2023, four students of class A3 of our school took part in the Competition of the Union of Greek Physicists.
On March 10, 2023, the same students also took part in the Aristotle Competition.
SCHOOL YEAR 2021 – 2022
On May 7, 2022, our school participated in the Second Phase of the Panhellenic Physics Competition of the Union of Greek Physicists.
SCHOOL YEAR 2020 – 2021
On Saturday, Martch 20, 2021 6 students of A Class and 7 students of C Class participated in the 9th National Physics Competition for High School (Phase A), that took place online.
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, 1 student of A Class and 4 students of C Class, participated in the 2nd Phase of the competition.
SCHOOL YEAR 2019 – 2020
On Saturday the 16th of May 2020, 1st Junior High School of Oraiokastro participated in the 8th National Student Physics Contest, via Internet. From A Class participated 2 students and from B Class 3 students.
SCHOOL YEAR 2017 – 2018
On Sunday the 29th of April, 1st Junior High School of Oraiokastrο, participated in the Contest of Physics Science of Northern Greece.
SCHOOL YEAR 2016 – 2017
On Sunday the 5th of March, 1st Junior High School of Oraiokastro participated in the 5th National Physics contest for High School Students, organized by the Greek Physics Organization. Twenty (20) students of our school participated from all classes.
SCHOOL YEAR 2015 – 2016
1st Junior High School of Oreokastro participated in the Hellenic Physics Contest of Gymnasium and Lyceum that was organized from the Union of Greek Physicists. The students of A Class Ignatiadis Christos and Tsiolakis Nestoras won an award.
SCHOOL YEAR 2014 – 2015
1. 1st Junior High School of Oreokastro participated in the 25th Hellenic Physics Contest organized by the Laboratory of Physics Sciences of the University of Athens. Our school participated with seven (07) students of the First Class. The following students were distinguished:

2. Papafotiou Anna Karmen
3. Ignatiadis Ioannis
The Physics Contests both for Junior High School and Lyceum aim at the preparation of students in subjects wider than the analytical school curriculum. Additionally, the competition between the students enhance their ability to confront problems with experimental data.
Our school congratulates the participants and all those who were distinguished at this year Physics Contest.
2. 1st Junior High School of Oraiokastro also participated as examination center in the organization of the Hellenic Physics Contest, during the first phase of the contest, on Saturday 7 March 2015.
SCHOOL YEAR 2013 – 2014
1. Participation in the first National Physics Competition for Junior High School Students organized by the Greek Physicists Union. The competition took place on 20/04/2013. More than 1300 students from all over Greece participated in the above competition. Two students from the 1st Junior High School of Oraiokastro took the sixth and sixty two places, under the guidance of Mrs. Aleksandra Nikolaidou, Physicist.
2. At 19/05/2013 took place the fifth Physics Competition for Junior High School Students organized by the Greek Physics Association. Under the guidance of Mrs. Aleksandra Nikolaidou, Physicist, 1st Junior High School of Oreokastro participated with many students? successes. More specifically our school won four awards and six credits.
