Church of Saint Gregory Palamas

In the framework of the lesson of History, A Class visited the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Church of Saint Gregory Palamas with the aim of experiential approach the local history. Mrs. Aikaterini Kalli, Philologist, organized the visit.

Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum - NOESIS

In the framework of Health Education Programs, B1 and B2 students attended the health program "I learn not to smoke". The students were being informed on matters concerning the hurtful customs of smoking. Mrs. Persefoni Liapi, Theologian, organized the activity.

Lazaristes Monastery - Youth Theatrical Scene

In the framework of the lesson of History, C Class, attended the theatrical performance "Animal Farm", based on the novel of George Orwell. The visit was organized by Mr. Savvas Fragos, Philologist.

Animal Farm is an allegorical and dystopian novella by George Orwell, first published in England on 17 August 1945. According to Orwell, the book reflects events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 and then on into the Stalin era in the Soviet Union. Orwell, a democratic socialist, was a critic of Joseph Stalin and hostile to Moscow-directed Stalinism, an attitude that was critically shaped by his experiences during the Spanish Civil War. The Soviet Union, he believed, had become a brutal dictatorship, built upon a cult of personality and enforced by a reign of terror.

Ioannina Entertainment Park

In the framework of the lessons of Technology, Mathematics and Computer Science, A Class, visited Ioannina Entertainment Park. The visit to the Ancient Greek Technology Museum and the Dinosaur Park was the experiential contact of students with the unknown scientific artifacts of ancient Greeks as well as paleontology topics. Students enjoyed animals and reptiles that appeared on earth from the beginning of life and discussed with experts on environmental matters and climate change. Mr. Panagiotis Paganos, Mathematician, organized the visit.

Musical Performance in the Pavlos Melas Cultural Center

In the framework of the lesson of Music, A and B Classes attended a musical performance with the title of "With the vehicle of Music we travel in the Ancient and Modern Greece". Mr Christos Xanthos, Musician, organized the activity.

Protagonists of the show was the team "Lyravlos". After years of research and study of ancient music, the group managed to reconstruct 40 ancient musical instruments. The "divine" lyre of Apollo and the melodious flute, survived in the modern era, as zournas and bagpipes. With these instruments revived both ancient and more recent Greek rhythms

CERN Exhibition

In the framework of the lesson of Physics, C Class visited the Interactive CERN Exhibition in the  International Fair of Thessaloniki.  Mr. Dimitrios Mattas, Physicist, organized the visit.

Most of us ignore what is the muon spectrometer, but a group of researchers of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki not only knows, but has built an important part -the 10% - of such a spectrometer, a total area of 5600 square meters, which is the heart of the search of the famous particle of God (Higgs particle), but also the so-called "new physics"!

In the framework of the lesson of School Career Orientation and Computer Science, C Class visited 133 Battle Wing located in Micra Military Airport and Higher Merchant Marine Academy in Nea Michaniona. The students were being informed for several occupations concerning military jobs. Mr. Georgios Arvanitidis, Agriculturist, Mr. Vasilios Politis, Sociologist and Mrs. Anna Michailidou, Computer Science, organized the visit.

Roman and Vyzantine Monuments of Thessaloniki

In the framework of the lesson of History, a visit was organized in the Archeological and Byzantine Museum of Thessaloniki. The purpose of the visit was the acquaintance with the monuments of Roman and Byzantine Thessaloniki. The entire school participated and the visit was organized by Mr. Savvas Fragos, Philologist.
