R4C

1st Junior High School of Oraiokastro, at its request, was selected by the Institute of Educational Policy – IEP (national coordinator of the project for Greece, under the auspices of ERASMUS+KA3), to participate in the project “Reflecting 4 Change (R4C)”, which was implemented until October 2021. The work carried out in our school was part of the wider “Friently Cities 4All” framework, which supports innovation and integrates sustainable development, with an emphasis on achieving improved cognitive outcomes. At the same time, the concept of “Open School” was promoted and “Digital Maturity” was reinforced. The actions that took place concerned the improvement of accessibility for disabled people to school premises. The pedagogical team consisted of the members of the faculty, Georgios Arvanitidis, Director, Agriculturist, Anna Michailidou, Computer Science and Christos Xanthos, Physicist. The participating students were a total of 35 from B and C Class.
